Chankanaab Park is another of the wonders of Cozumel Island, and is located about 9 kilometers south of the center of the island, a place with hundreds of activities and landscapes to visit. Chankanaab is one of the most important refuges of flora and fauna that abounds in Cozumel, a magical place to find you and appreciate the splendidness of nature, the vastness of the Caribbean Sea and the Caribbean oaisis.
What to see?
In Chankanaab Park you can enjoy its beautiful beaches, take a tour of the jungle, swim with dolphins, dive or visit a small lagoon, home to iguanas and turtles. You can also visit a small archaeological area with Mayan remains and a museum with Mayan relics of one of the seven wonders of the world, Chichen Itza. Don’t forget to visit the Botanical Garden that houses about 400 species of different tropical plants.
